Hair Loss and its Causes
Both men and women can suffer from hair loss at any point in their life. There are many different causes, most of which are hereditary, although other factors can contribute to thinning hair and one of those is stress related hair loss which is fast becoming more and more common amongst men and women. Treatment for hair loss in women and men are easy to find although choosing the correct hair and scalp treatments to suit can be difficult and costly, so any research must be done thoroughly when selecting hair-loss medication.

What is Stress?
Stress is a modern illness that affects almost all of us at some time in our lives and is associated with all kinds of things from work to family. It can be hard to define that somebody is actually suffering from stress, whether mild or extreme, which can be why there are not such a great deal of medications available on prescription. As an example 'Propecia' is one prescription treatment for hair loss, but it is not recommended for women or children so they have to sought a different medication that does not contain the active ingredient 'Finasteride'.

Stress can be overwhelming and the symptoms themselves can cause further distress, which makes it hard for the sufferer to foresee the end of the illness, and thus they find it hard to be able to cope with without any kind of treatment or relief from it.
